Key Ke LIU Ph.D., Foreign Fellow of the Australia Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE)
He was elected as the
only one Foreign Fellow of the Australia Technological Sciences and Engineering
(ATSE) for the year of 2015. He is now a Chair Professor, the Dean of Clean
Energy Institute and the Dean of School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of
Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).He got his Ph.D. from City University of New York in 1995.He used to be the Coal Gasification Platform Technology Leader and Chair
Scientist of GE Global Research Center, the Vice President and Chief Technology
Officer of the National Institute of Clean & Low-carbon Energy (NICE) . He received a variety of national and
international awards, including "The Minorities in Research Award" (2006
Emerald Honors Special Recognition Award. In 2013, He was selected
to win the 2013 PITT Award. He was selected to the Fifteen Thousand
Talents in innovation and entrepreneurship for the year of 2015. He is a
well-known expert in the fields of energy, he has high attainments in petroleum refining,
hydrogen and fuel cells, coal chemical, IGCC and so on. He published and
presented many papers, and filed 100 patents & patent applications.
